As I crossed 5th avenue and 57th street this morning on my way to work I was almost run over by Bill Cunningham wielding his camera about. Sadly, he was not taking a photo of me, but it was one of those truly wonderful New York moments.

A 'Swan' of complex shades.  →
For as much as I have very much had my fill of Swan Lake, both performing it and seeing it performed, I can’t help but post this group of photos from The New York Times. I don’t know if it’s my hopeful  anticipation of my soon to be short stint with The Paris Opera Ballet, but these photos are captivating.  Sara Mearns and Jared Angle bring so much to the stage. A wonderful pair....

When your lost in the woods of New York City, it sometimes takes a little while for your to realize that you are lost.
